Here are some questions for the community against Privacy:

Q #1 - What is your opinion on privacy?

Q #2 - Do you value your privacy?

Q #3 - If you were Edward Snowden, would you have leaked the documents?

A #1 - I think rpivacy is something very essential to users these days, they shouldn't have to worry about if there is someone in the middle of everything watching their videos, viewing their pictures, or reading their personal texts.

A #2 - Yes, I value my privacy to the fullest extent, I have a very secure setup & I take tons of precautions before I do anything.

A #3 - If "I" were Edward Snowden I would have personally did the same thing, as I stated before users shouldn't have the need to be worried because this shouldn't be happening at all!

I'm one of those people who's happy that the government is actively tracking people. I have nothing to hide. I would rather governments have means to foil terrorist attempts or any other things like that...

I doubt that the surveillance is doing much to stop terrorism. Terrorists communicate through surreptitious means and do not communicate in ways that can easily be tracked. The real reason that surveillance is pushed so much is because big corporations want an easy way to tell who is violating their copyrights.

You are absolutely right ..the situation is so far worse that even an mp3 you download..can cost you some heavy fines & even a lengthy jail time . Sometimes i wonder do they only track normal people or politicians as well? but i guess we all know politicians are not normal & above the law, even if they say they claim to Public servant .

I'm okay with the government keeping tabs on people on the net. But I do like my privacy.

I don't really have a problem with the government scanning communications for keywords, etc. Meta data and what not is something that I especially do not think is an issue. History has shown that you don't need an NSA to create a police state, all you need is enough thugs to do your bidding. For that reason, I don't think the NSA is a step towards anything that's truly scary.

The kind of people who work at agencies like this are nice people who have respect for the law and civil liberties, they just have a mission that they think is very important, and walk through what many would consider to be legal gray areas to get there. If you value your privacy, you can still use encryption, but it's probably a waste of time. The NSA doesn't care what's on your hard drive, or about any of the messages a normal person will ever send.

As for what Snowden did: what he did was illegal and very unprofessional. If I am given confidential information, it is my ethical, moral, and professional responsibility to not leak that information.

If this is about the government "spying" on people, then my opinion would be I am GLAD that the government is looking out for us. This is the internet, government or not, you are going to be spied on and you are going to be stalked. China could hack you and you would have no idea. This is the internet, if you are so worried about privacy, keep your personal information off the internet and you will be fine. I'm glad the government is looking out for us, and if them spying on us means they foil a giant terrorist plot THAT CAN KILL YOU...or put this country in ruins.. then so be it.

Yeah; which is why I do not divulge all my information on the internet. If you want privacy, keep your stuff off the internet. It's quite simple.

Q #3 - If you were Edward Snowden, would you have leaked the documents?

No; I would have left the government to do what they need to do to keep us safe. Leaking those documents was the stupidest thing he could have possibly done.

There have been many cases worldwide which have highlighted the importance of privacy protection tools; ranging from the Edward Snowden files to The Pirate Bay take downs. While i do not condone any illegal activity, i believe that protecting your online activities should be a human right. Choosing the right VPN can be daunting but this is where we come in. If you live in Usa and haven’t thought about a VPN yet, then it’s high time to do so.

I think everyone should be able to keep their privacy as long as they haven't shown a reason for anyone to invade it.
Q #2 - Do you value your privacy?
Yes I do value it. Although I use my picture as profile pictures on places, I am careful of that information I disclose to everyone.
Q #3 - If you were Edward Snowden, would you have leaked the documents?
I wouldn't have done it because it was confidential information and that would make people not be able to trust me with anything.
