Which do you prefer 2D or 3D movies?

Watching a 3d movie is always a worthwhile for me as there is real impact of action on you.though, it may harm your eyes but you have a good passage of time watching that movie.

Personally I find it depends on the type of movie. Some things just seem to work in 3D and some do not. The biggest problem with 3D to me is not all 3D is equal. What I mean by this is, it seems some studios just can't do the 3D right. Not to mention when they make subtitles not a secondary thing overlaying the two images so that they do not pop out at you. That is quiet the annoyance to me seeing my subs in 3D.

3D does not seem to hurt my eyes really. What seems to happen to me is I get a headache at first and never again. For example, I take a long break from 3D to come back that first go gets me if I extensively use it more than say a few hours. Once that happens the second, third, or et cetera go at 3D effects in a orderly time frame is not and issue again. Of course, until I stop using 3D for a while again.

When I think of 3D, movies like Shrek pop into mind and I know that's different than actual 3D movies. I would agree with everyone about how it would be uncomfortable to wear those 3D glasses for any long time. I don't like being uncomfortable and watching movies is not a huge priority in my life now as I would prefer to hang out with my family watching TV shows rather than pay the $20 for each 3D movie ticket. So many other fun things to do in life inside and outside of the house than this.

I like 3D, but only if it's decent. I like the 3D effect, it looks so real when things pop-out at you. Them glasses makes anyone look silly. xD

To be honest if I am at home I would rather watch 2D because with the little red and blue 3D glasses you can't really tell if the movie has any colors, but if I am at a movie theater that is a different story. I would much rather see 3D because you can actually see the movie colors!

Prefer 2D, wearing 3D glasses over the top of normal glasses can be a pain.
