Which is the best for domain and webhosting?

Would not say Hostgator are the best anymore. Fasthosts and 1&1 are ok. Many of the bigger ones provide very similar service really.

I wouldn't recommend HostGator anymore after the few instances I had with them in the past. They can shut down your site for the slightest CPU spike. Most of the smaller webhosts out now days can provide the same level of hosting as the bigger companies, as well as faster support due to them being smaller and having the time to speak with you directly instead of waiting for replies.

I would recommend USHost247, HolderHost, or any other smaller host from a reputable member of FP.

Hostgator I think is great when talking about discounts. But I would pay more on GoDaddy for stability.
