Well, I know you are many here who saying you don't know the Pet Shop Boys and therefore I thought I would introduce them for you. I think it would be the best if I started there, so you all know what am I really talking about when I will advertize my forum and get members. Okay, here we go:
The Pet Shop Boys is an English synth-pop duo formed by the guys who are called Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant. Before the music career Neil worked as a journalist on the pop magazine Smash Hits meanwhile Chris studied architecture.
They both met in an electronic shop when Neil was looking for parts to his keyboard. They started chatting a bit about music and found that they had the similar interest in music and making music. Soon the first single released and it was called West End Girls.

At first they didn't succeed in making the song to a hit. Then they wrote another song called Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money) and succeeded much better with that one.

They also released the singles Love Comes Quickly

and Suburbia

At last, 1985 the first album came out. It was called Please and the title was meant like a pun, because you would go into a record shop and say: "Can I have the Pet Shop Boys album, please?"
After Please they releleased their second album and called it Disco. It contained remixes of four of the singles from the album Please and two single b-sides.
Their third album came out 1987 and it was called Actually. Even this time the album title was meant like some kind of pun, because the same year they released "Always On My Mind:

The song is a cover of the Elvis Presley song "Always On My Mind". Pet Shop Boys decided to make their version as different from the original as possible.
Well, the album and that single were released the same year and then the single wasn't there on the album and it was the meaning, because when they released the single they wrote" Not from the album Actually!"
Here is also a movie about the Pet Shop Boys and the songs they sing come from the first album Please and Actually:

Just to note, when you use the YouTube tag, you only use that number after the "v=". When you use the entire link, the video doesn't appear. 😉

Whenever I think of the pet shop boys I think of one of the most camp songs ever made - go west.

Other than that, I don't like them.
