Well, being that I was fourteen years old and I had a PayPal account set up with all fake personal information, I was pissed. My account was limited because of it, and I didn't exactly have any way to fix that.

If you look on the Web Archive you can still get to a fair few pages. Search Google for the ‘Wayback Machine’.
The theme was custom made by a theme designer. You can get a similar theme for phpBB by the same dude called Absolution.

I'm currently using this theme on my forum. It's been one of my favorite ones since the early days of phpbb3. I hope it'll be compatible with future releases of the software. It's nice and clean and easy to navigate.
I vividly remember when FP was on phpbb. Been a member since 2008 originally. I think I joined up almost right after I graduated high school, if not a few months later.
Was this when you got banned or were you banning someone else

Haha, I remember you all in blue! I was just one of the creepy stalkers that had an old ProBoards site back when it was v4(?) and had no idea what I was doing and thought I could promote it. (Ahhh, my first site.... 😵 )

Iwas only ever banned once, but it was an accident because my account on here had been hacked at the time. No longer recall details but I do remember the hassle of trying to clear my name. I think my own site had gotten hacked at the time too so I was just having online crap in general. I think that was the incident that made me go on a hiatus from running forums in general for a while because of all the stress I was dealing with.

I just love all the memories it brings back. It was definitely a fun time back then just making a new site every week and getting packages on it and buying as many services as you could.
I like xenForo but darn if FP could go back to that classic phpBB theme it just looks so good with all those gradients.

It'd be a nightmare to update though. These memories seem to be back when phpBB was still on version 3.0 when modding was a thing. Nowadays it's done properly with extensions rather than modding the actual code base.

i remember them old modding days it was the same on IPB 1.3 also i think vbulletin and smf was the originals that had extension / plugin installations
