Why does the US think it's tough?

You guys are getting carried away and is becoming on the side of racist and it seriously isn't funny also does it hurt to say that I have two Korean friends who are both brothers and say good things about there country?

Guys remember its a discussion thread where members from all nationalities can take part so be respectful of that fact, thanks 😉

Erm, sorry MissTake, but North Koreans don't surf forums. That's South Koreans. People from NK don't really have internet, because that is a link to the outside world. We have members from *some* nationalities, not all. The ones we have 0 are would include North Korea, as I don't even think any of the "commoners" have internet access. Heck, they can't even leave the country. Here is a picture for y'all

The lighted up part is South Korea. The completely black part is North Korea.

There are two countries. NORTH Korea and SOUTH Korea. Lee, you have a friend from SOUTH Korea, which is a wonderful country n the 21st century, unlike NORTH Korea which is still in the stone age. SOUTH Korea has professional starcraft players too. 😛

And, proof: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/23/techn ... .html?_r=1

I quote:
While other restrictive regimes have sought to find ways to limit the Internet — through filters and blocks and threats — North Korea has chosen to stay wholly off the grid.

North Korea is a tiny little banana republic which likes to pretend it's tough but could be taken out in a day. The problem is that China supports North Korea.
And we support South Korea. The problem isn't really between the US and China, it is the nation's the coutries choose to support. North Korea could obliterate South Korea in a day if it weren't for the 20,000 United States troops in South Korea and on the DMZ. Not to mention Seoul, South Korea's capital is close to the border.

Yes we do. North Korea is not a threat to anybody except South Korea and Japan because they are near.

North Korea's nuclear programs are a complete joke. Their weapons are flawed, nothing works. If you look at intelligence videos that we collected for North Korea, you would realize that they are nothing more than a brainwashed bunch of people that are convinced by their government they are more powerful than every other country in the world.
The day Kim Jung il dies, there's going to be sheer chaos. The entire country is convinced he's the sun, moon and stars. His father, Kim il Sung's funeral was crazy. The entire country was torn apart when he died. It's rediculous what those peons believe.

Yeah, South Korea (and maybe Japan) are also players here. However, if we don't step to destroy the North Korean government they will eventually get more powerful. I bet china is also slipping them aid under the table too, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

They would kill us all.

lol

anybody here North Korean?
Nope.

North KOreans don't have electricity all the time, let alone Internet.

[/quote]I bet they do. South Korea is a great democracy who doesn't kill extended family if you choose to defect from their nation, unlike its neighbor to the north.

I love SOUTH Korea. They are probably the best place to live that's in the region east of Poland and west of japan.

I think that the U.S. Needs to get a better government before the country can start improving at all. We rely to much on the government to tell us what to do right now and we need to start doing things for ourselves. And half of the unemployed people in the united states are to lazy to get up and try and find a half decent job! There are plenty of jobs available.

Just because North Koreans are restricted in many things doesn't mean that some have not escaped the communist regimes and fled to other countries, it is possible to have members with a N. Korean background or heritage 🙂

Well, you can't leave North Korea, but even if they did escape, then they would hate North Korea even more than you do, MissTake. They would HATE North Korea. I severely doubt that, if they read this, they would be offended. They would probably appreciate the fact that we despise their tyrannical government.

What if they didn't hate North Korea? Not everyone's mind works the same as yours. I've seen in many cases where people will love something even if it doesn't love them back. The fact is there's a chance that someone from North Korea does love their heritage and can get offended.

Honestly, why would anyone be afraid of the US?

Be afraid of Russia. They could destroy the US. Especially when Obama fires his best general for pointing out the obvious. (That he is a moron)

China too. If they weren't screwed financially, they could take us easily.

I'm tired of hearing that we are the strongest country. We are weak and have a bad government.

The US could destroy Russia too. I watch a special on the discovery channel about two weeks ago.

Kim-Jong-il kills people, he does not allow his citizens to use the internet, and he has them wrapped up in a radical communist society. If someone escapes a dictatorship, then they will not love it. It is a waste of our time to discuss whether a North Korean will be offended by this discussion, because, firstly, a North Korean is not reading this. Secondly, a North Korean, if he was, would agree that their government is radical. If we were bashing Adolf Hitler then we would offend a couple hundred neo-nazis, but we would get the agreement of a couple million Jews around the world. North Korea is a tyrannical society, okay? If you speak up against his greatness, Kim-Jong-il, then you die. Okay? This is not a real issue.

23link.1_190x245.webp

The north half of that picture, with no lights, is North Korea. the south half is South Korea. As you can see, there are no lights in North Korea. Only darkness. The darkness of a tyrannical regime. See? That is why Kim-Jong-Il is a tyrant, I assure you, no one from Korea is a fan of him.

Is it just me, or do I see a dot of light in North Korea?

That's probably Kim-Jong-Il's house. I hear you can see it from outer-space. It could also be a high-scale area where members of the regime live. It's most likely a military base, or maybe the capital.

Lol, I can't believe the Moderators think a North Korean would be offended.

There is no North Korean on this forum.

Rather than quoting a shitload of posts:

The dot is Pyongyang, the capital. I never once said that DPRK doesn't have electricity, but that most of the times they don't. That is one of the exceptions.

If a North Korean escaped, they didn't do it because they liked the DPRK, they did it because they hated it! The regime there is one of, if not the most, totalinarionistic ever. In fact every aspect of life is controlled by the government. Even the right to reproduce. If you or your wife (for men) goes into the hospital and gives birth, after the birth, the baby is inspected. If there are any defects, or if the "doctors" feel like it, they'll get the baby, pick it up, and throw it into a trash bin. I can find links if you don't believe me.

And escaping isn't easy either. Watch some documentarys about it. If they try to escape, they put their life on the line as well as their families. They won't escape to spread the good word about DPRK.

It was bush who screwed over the USA. I think that Obama can make things better if he is there long enough.
