Sadly it's against the rules for me to lease my XenForo license. ๐Ÿ™
I have a spare one which I'm not using but cannot sell just yet. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
Well I can, just cannot transfer it (not for 120 days...about 90 days left)
I wanted to lease the license for a monthly fee...but the TOS don't allow.
I'm offering to lend it to you if you could put it to good use. Post below.
You will not, however, own the license. I'll only be lending it to you. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
You can use it until I find a further use for it. Then you must buy one.
I am not planning to use it anytime soon, though, so don't worry. ๐Ÿ˜€

In return perhaps you could send me an FP Cash donation?
A minimum of 2000 FP$ would be a reasonable donation. ๐Ÿ™‚
More if possible as you can use this XenForo absolutely free.
And perhaps you could join my forums and make daily posts.

You will need to put the license to good use though, okay?
I'm not going to lend it to the first bidder, rather to the best.

How long would one be able to use it?

Whilst I don't want/ need this license, how about operating a hire purchase kind of deal? The person agrees to paying $15 per month for 10 months. If they stop paying then they cannot get the license at the end of the deal....

That's what I want to do, but as stated in my first post, it's not allowed by the XenForo TOS. It states in their TOS that you cannot lease a license. ๐Ÿ™ To do the above I'd be in breach of their TOS. ๐Ÿ™

I did it and Xenforo didn't care, the support person told me it was ok to "lease it" ๐Ÿ˜›

Really? That's not what it says in their TOS.
I think I should contact them and ask them.
I'll post back in this topic if I get a response.
If I don't get one I'll assume it's not allowed.

UPDATE: XenForo responded to my ticket and confirmed that sub-leasing licenses isn't allowed.
