Another toughie. A rewind would be great because hindsight & the 'Wish I would’ve known then what I know now'. Pause button, so I can just breathe a bit. I’ll go with Rewind. Do something over, say something else, so as not to be hurt nor hurt another.
I would definitely choose the pause button! I try to live life without any regrets so I don't usually wish to go back in time. But oh to have a pause button... to be able to have a moment to have a breather before continuing a tough conversation or something that would very useful.
I would have to say pause, there are things i would like to change however when we step in mud lets say we learn from it so going back how many times would you keep doing the same thing? being able to take a real break from the everyday would be awesome.
If I were to rewind, I think I would be too worried in destroying my present/future by disrupting the past. So, I think I'll go with a "pause" on life. Sometimes, it's just nice to have more time to think about a decision.
This makes me think of Adam Sandler's movie, Click. I'll go with the rewind button. I can redo whatever I need to do redo, and I can correct whatever mistakes I make. I could also predict the future given that I've already lived in, which means I'd be making a lot of money off gambling, the stock market, crypto, etc. I'd press that rewind button and go buy Bitcoin at the very beginning.
Plus, I feel like I could use the rewind button in a similar fashion to the pause button if I needed to. When I am looking to stop time, couldn't I just rewind 5-10 mins and start it over from the top? Until I get it right...
I'd like a rewind button for every time I say or do something that gets me into trouble or causes someone hurt feelings. That way I can re-do it, learn from my mistakes, and be consequence free.
Pause is better because I wouldn't be annoyed by living in the present like in Groundhog's Day. But if my heart would stop beating in the pause and I somehow kill myself in the process it would be no fun either. Being stuck in one spot is also no fun but better than having to go to work or depend on someone else to pay you so you could essentially live forever.
