Description: I am the webmaster over at FPSTOURNEYS.COM a new site setup to provide people with a friendly gaming community and our main goal to run tournaments with the chance to win prizes. We are in our very early stages and are needing people to populate the forums and become active community members. Once the board becomes active I will be looking for people to help me with the everyday running etc. I would appreciate any new members who are willing to contribute to the overall development of the site! Umm.. just an suggestion well a 'need' if your going to run a website like this your going to need an homepage part of website something around this idea. Cannot simply be ran via forums, it's just a no-no might want to check out website's like GameBattles.com etc..

Also there is a script floating around I believe by the name of Elite ladders or something and will help you grab exactly what your looking for. Other than that good luck.

Yeah i am aware that i'm going to need a script, i did some testing on Elite Ladders and apart from being the best at what it does it has a fatal security flaw which gives away the admin username and password in a hash tag!

So i am currently in the works at finding another script or a more stable version. I also think the site would benefit from a forum community before moving forward.

Well at first your community wouldn't be your forums rather being your tournaments / ladders.

I would have thought this site would have put forward constructive critique. So far the comments have been nothing but negative!

As i have stated the site is in early development hence why there is only a forum. I was initially using Elite ladders until i encountered several errors and a fatal security flaw!

I would also like to know how i would be able to run a tournament without a community! I'm sure that would be a great idea to run a tournament for 32 people when i currently have 3 members including myself.

If people who have ambitions to a run site who haven't got the greatest looking site are not welcome here then please let me know and i will not contribute anything more to the site.

I told you I like the name - so how's that negative? You're missing the point. I made a comment about your design, and I stand firm about it. It's ugly.

In other words, try switching to a different template, or perhaps hire a designer to create a new one for you from scratch. It'd make all the difference.
