Yes, in March you will pay $50 if you want to continue to get updated (which don't happen that often), so you're still saving money, instead of buying one brand new.

License extension is $40, not $50. And you should know that is only necessary if you want support and/or an upgrade, you can still use Xenforo in April if you don't pay the $40, you just can't upgrade.

At the rate things are going there, there may not be an update for a long time given the current legal situations.

Bear in find, you are paying for around two years technically, $60 up to March and then $40 for that next year, if you bought it brand new, two years would cost you $180 not $100, so this is a pretty good deal 😉

Doesn't Xenforo have a built in MyBB converter ?

The only available importers from the XF resources section are for SMF, VB4, FluxBB and PunBB.

XF has built in converters for phpBB, MyBB, IPB and vB.

Converting from MyBB is really simple. I've done it for people before and it didn't take too long at all and with very few errors.

EDIT: My mistake. I thought that they had a MyBB importer. They do not nor is there a third-party importer available. You would have to convert to phpBB then into XF.
