First Impressions: (7 out of 15)
My first impression was how many areas there are to hold discussions on your forum. You have quite a few sections on your forum (which you will find I will discuss further in your review) which I believe is good considering the niche` of your forum. Also, I noticed that there are a lot of areas that are empty on your forum. I know you just opened your forum a few days ago but that doesn't look good to a guest who is viewing your forum for the first time. To improve that, I would would start posting around the forum. However, don't just make random posts. Make sure they are meaningful and promote discussion within your community. This will help attract more people to your forum. Also, another suggestion, is if you have any friends that may be willing to help you then I would ask them if they would make some posts around the community. I did notice one negative thing in my first scan of your forum. In the "About YouElites" at the bottom of the forum, I noticed a grammar mistake. I noticed it said "get answered your questions" and it should say "get answers to your questions". I would fix that and it will be much better.
Site Structure: (11 out of 15)
I like the fact that you have a section dedicated to just "YouTube", another section dedicated to just "Video Production" and another section dedicated to "Streaming". I think that makes it easier for members to find what they are looking for and want to discuss. There is one thing that bugs me though. I noticed that you have a chatbox of sorts at the very top of your forum. Normally I am against a forum having a chatbox, especially a new forum that is only a few days old, because I believe that a chatbox can take away from some of the discussions that could be taking place elsewhere on the forum. I would remove the chatbox altogether so that it doesn't decrease any of the activity on your forum. If you are not willing to remove it, at least move the chatbox to the bottom of your forum so that it doesn't appear to be a focal point for your forum. You want the discussions of your forum to be the focal point so that your forum looks active, which in turn will help you attract new members.
Design Quality: (14 out of 15)
I like the light theme you're using on your forum. It seems to go very well with the niche` of your forum and it is easy on the eyes (for me it is). Did you create that theme yourself or did someone make that theme for your forum? I like the widgets on the right hand side of the forum that tell me the newest threads that have been created and the threads that are most active. I believe those will be beneficial to your forum as they will help show that your forum is active. I would keep them at the top, right underneath the announcements, so that people can see them when they first view your forum.
Originality: (14 out of 15)
Well, I'll have to say that the niche` of your forum is something that you don't see that often. At least, I haven't seen much of it and I've seen and been apart of quite a few forums. I think there use to be a YouTube forum out there at one point in time but I know it didn't combine streaming along with YouTube like yours does. Since you have a niche` that is kind of rare (at least at the moment), the important thing is to be the forum that sets the bar for that niche`. You may have some type of contest or giveaway that is unique to your forum.
Overall Mark: (46 out of 60)
There are quite a few areas that don't have anyone posting in them yet. I would start posting in those areas to help make the forum look a bit more active. I think that will help you out quite a bit. If you can make the forum appear a little less empty, I think you'll be doing really good. Keep up the good work!
