Yummie in my Tummie is a new forum I have started with my wife about cooking and eating. Will be adding recipes for everything from grilling to slow cookers. We are looking to get active members and build a community about doing something that everyone does, Eating. Stop in say hello and share some of your favorite recipes with us.

Hello Allan, that is a nice site indeed. I love cooking but sad to say cooking doesn't like me haha...but swear I love to learn. Every time my Uncle cooks here when we have events at home, i just watch him and be his assistant. I am learning actually by just looking at him, looking at the process how he cooks. I'm really loving it. Sometimes, I experiments anything in our kitchen. Well it taste yummy anyway haha. I wanna learn for real. 🙂

A good suggestion is to watch tasty videos, they show you a lot.

is it true that your mood when cooking will emanate on the food that you cooked?

I would recommend changing the site format from the forum to the blog.

I love cooking and like the idea for a recipe site where people can try new ideas and pass on their own. But I noticed that you've had this site up and running since Dec last year and only added one recipe. It might be a good idea to add quite a few more (since in my experience people like to look at a busy site with plenty of juicy information to look at) and have written recipes as well since they'd be easier to follow than a video (which people would be pausing all the time to add and mix ingredients). I certainly like written recipes more than video recipes.

This was project that we thought of a while ago and was not in a rush to open it. I wanted to learn the software, made the theme and just finished college. We wanted to make sure that we have the needed time to run the community. Although right now I live in central Florida so this weekend is dedicated to Hurricane Irma.

Fair enough. I hope you get a lot more things up on the site and also look after yourself with Irma

Nice looking site! How do you like the 'Burning Board' software? I just recently set up fastingforum.net using Discourse, but I haven't been using it long enough to know if I like it or not.

I like it their are a lot of features out of the box, the only drawback that I can think of is that a lot of the plugins are in German so translating can be touchy.

I don't cook, but I know a couple who would love this site. They have a gourmet meal every dang day it seems.
