Free Domain Guide managed to hit #1 on Google for it's respected keywords! Quite a feat as it's beating out some PR5+ sites for that #1 spot.

Next we'll work on getting up there for "Free Domain Name", which will be pretty hard (but possible).

Well, I linked to it with those keywords whenever possible really, and I linked to it via a PR3 site I have which probably helped too. I didn't really do anything special, just did the basic stuff 😛
