Once more the AFB has come back ‘round again! For almost three months the All Forum Battle raged upon the plains of Hortorian, ending in an epic battle between last year’s final four champions: Stormfire, Quoth the Raven, Mithiri, and Joshua – now known as Josh. The top four came together in a clash of stanza warfare and gfx battle.
But now the time has come to crown a new King/Queen for the AFB.
The battle lines are being drawn once more and battle gear is being polished and blades sharpened – With a few anticipated curve balls to be thrown in, the anticipation of battle is beginning to rise. For those familiar with the start of the AFB, you shall know that it was once a team affair, but never again. The All Forum Battle deals with individual fighters playing against all others – AFB Commissioner Sk8 is once again in the seat of organizing and guarantees a fun run though this year.
The entire process is meant to mainstream miniature contests between individual members to raise a feeling of friendly competition and camaraderie amongst forum members. Battles progress over a set ten days and decided based on the audiences – Hortorian member’s – votes which decide the winner. Eliminating the chance of favoritism amongst designated judges and also streamlining the judging process.
So then, denizens of Hortorian, prepare your battle armor, the AFB returns on June 1, 2011!
AFB will run through August 4th and the final four between the top four competitors will be held August 6th through the 11th, winners announced tentatively on August 13th. Any questions feel free to ask.
