I'm going to bump 🙂 And I want to post some cool threads. We have this thread on backlinks from forum signatures which explains how search engines see links which you would put in your signature on forums. I also want to share a thread on making the best title tag - you can read our different opinions about the perfect title tag.
And for the advanced SEO person, I want to share the thread with my glasgow weight workbook. You'll have to register to download it but it has the formula in it and you just need to plug in the numbers. It's a much better way to see keywords on a page quantitatively. Once you start doing this you'll never calculate keyword density ever again!
So people if you don't register for our forum maybe you could post the reason why you won't register? 🙂 That way I could work on improving the site.
I can't remember. Can you please PM me to remind me? I can't remember the name of a site like that. I'm thinking of a forum on IP.B that I visited and it was about forum administrator and they had IP.Links and IP.Blog and all that and that gave me the idea to go with IP board.
Doesn't that give you an intense urge to register and post? If you're not feeling that intense urge you should tell me how to improve the forum so you get that feeling. 😀
The style is a little big bulky, and some of the colors don't seem to blend well. It may just be my personal preference though. Also, some forums seem oddly specific, and could be categorized a little bit better -- or just merged with another board. For example, SEO might be better fit under Webmaster Discussion. I also think that hardware and software could be split up to fit better.
This may be something you want to talk over with your community's members to see what their opinions are, as some of it may once again be preference. And you should probably fall into whatever you members' preference is.
It still doesn't look as professional as I would like and it needs some tweaks but it's a work in progress. Any suggestions?<br /><br />-- 03 Dec 2010, 04:02 --<br /><br />I made this in 5 minutes:
