i recently got a polish edu domain - austin.edu.pl
im unsure if it has the same significance as a normal .edu domain but im assuming that it will have a simaler effect.
backlinks on .edu domains and other countrys ccTLD versions are reported to have a better effect on your search engine rankings than most other domains, as they arnt just handed out on a plate, you have to apply for one.
im only adding 4 links at a time to the footer of the site when i have made it, and as a nice gift to 1 of you lot im going to give one away for free (2 month link).
just post your site here and i will check through them and pick one =)
