Ok, 1TB? I sure hope you have a good TOS.
Or you could land yourself in a very tricky situation.
What if somebody goes ahead and uses all that 1TB?
Terms:
1) No illegal content
2) No nulled scripts
3) No adult content
4) No torrent leech
5) No Warez
In a word, its an onshore server
These terms are not going to protect you from someone using the whole 1TB.
Besides, in a way, this is worse than unlimited with an acceptable use policy.
By giving an absolute figure for a disk space allowance people expect that much.
With unlimited, providing you state an acceptable use policy, you're a lot safer.
That is what a lot of the big web hosting providers do. Unlimited with an AUP.
Unlimited *without* an AUP, on the other hand, would be foolish. Very foolish.
And only 95% uptime? With respect...is this some kind of a joke?
😕
Sorry for the above harsh comments...perhaps they were a little harsh.
But they were true.
🙁
Now for some helpful advice...
Revise your Terms of Service. Perhaps make a PDF document.
Detail "specifically" what is and what isn't allowed. Then attach to this topic.
That way, whatever you state in your TOS, you are covered and protected against.
Anything that you fail to state could be brought to question. You can revise anytime.
Sadly, a lot of new entrepreneurs make the mistake of overselling without an AUP.
They don't tend to like the result. I have seen it happen many, many times before.
Think of it from the customer perspective. Think what could happen to their website?
