They like the lessons - but won't join the forum, unfortunately. Anyway, though, I have seen developed forums coming from social media pages, though.
One example is the drummer world forum (unfortunately offline for SSL problems). Well, it's huge with a lot of activity and backed up by a following of 200,000 (on YouTube I think).

Well, anyhow, I think it would take at least 100,000 (followers) to make any money from drum lessons I think.

It might not be that easy. Most of the Patreons that are successful seem to have 100,000 to 200,000 followers on social media (around that).
