Just a thanks
First of all, I'd like to thank every single member of this forum for helping us get so far so fast. You have put up through the posting service been closed, massive backlogs, themes that have stopped working and so much more but still you've stayed loyal to the forum so thank you all for that.
We've done it
We have done it. 10,000 posts. In the past I have thought that the forum wouldn't see 10,000 posts. In the past I have thought, maybe I should just close the forum but I'm glad I haven't because we've hit a milestone that has inspired me and the team to keep going, to keep getting better. It doesn't matter if you've made 1 post or 3,000 posts here, you've still been a massive help to us so once again thank you.
Celebrations and Cubs
Now to celebrate 10,000 posts I've installed some fireworks which will be around for a while and a few other nice things but you may see lots of changes to the forum going on now. This is because we had a planned update for when we hit 10,000 posts which we will be releasing bit by bit from now until about a month or so time. This is called version 2.0 or Project Cub. Project Cub was started in a time when I thought the forum was going to fail, it was a plan to make it more unique, to make it better designed, to create new and exciting features. Basically a complete revamp and that is what you guys and girls will be getting. The site will be completely different but a lot better. We've listened to your feedback and have worked so hard on a update that's got what you want in it so watch out for the updates and stick around for the biggest update. Some updates I'm happy to tell you about right now are a new theme made by none other than Belo Designs which cost a grand 115$ but is certainly worth it and a new directory where you can submit your site and referral links which will get you new members and a baclink to help with your search engine rankings. We will also be implanting new services. If you have any last minute suggestions for us please do tell us.
Looking Forward
Looking even further into the future we hope to work on v3.0 in between now and then we hope to rack up at least 100,000 posts which would be truly amazing but the rewards to our members would be truly amazing as well because when we start earning a steady income I'm going to start paying people just for posting on the forum. Now it may not be as much as paid to post forums however, the thing about those forums is they close so we'll give you a rate we can sustain and still make a profit from but even better for our current members is members who already have a large post count will get things like 50% extra for their first 5 payments and other awesome things. Also in the future we'll host massive competitions with massive prizes like xenforo licenses plus custom themes plus premium plugins and over fantastic things like that.

Don't forget that we've hit 300 members so thanks to everyone who has signed up for that. As a thanks to everyone, you can get 300 free FA$, all you have to do is make a topic in the feedback section about what you love most about Forum Assist then replying back here saying you've done it and you'll get your FA$, this is for staff members to! When I ran Advertising Mania we hit 300 members at the same amount of months after the release of the forum as we've done here but that was years ago and this makes me so much more proud because there isn't a load of fake users like I did at Advertising Mania, these are real members. Making a forum successful without it been 50% cheap tricks really makes me happy.
Look out, prizes are falling from the skies
Another way we're thanking members for helping us reach these milestones and celebrating version 2.0 is a few contests, we'll start with a little mini contest with a really nice prize then we'll have a big blockbuster contest sometime soon so get ready for our very own Triathlon. It'll be 3 contests in 1. That's all I will say. I can tell you that the prizes will be really good, nothing that costs us to much because we bust the bank to pay for the new design but the contests will be worth it anyway.

Also thanks for giving me the inspiration and determination to continue with Forum Assist even when I've wanted to throw in the towel. I even thank the haters because sometimes under all the hate you have some pretty helpful ideas so even thanks to you guys. Honestly I'm so glad we've reached this milestone so soon it's lead to so many possibilities with this forum but just a note, I will always make the forum how you want it. I will never turn it into something for earning money. I'll happily earn money from it and I'm trying to earn money from it but I'm not going to comprise the sites quality for it.
