I don't think I have understood what you are looking for, what is it you don't like about the 2 banners I have made?

Your forum header is blue so it look look like above when you upload it. I did this to show you the effects of the image.

have you got a example(existing right now) of the kind of splash you want ?

I am finding it difficult to work out as I don't remember the splash of thediscussion.info and the ones I do start from the corners.

I think it just came out of the back ground.

I like yours the most of all. The only thing I don't like about it is the font. The under text is to small and the main logo text is to small as well. The text is the only thing that needs changing.

Btw it does say general chat forums but it's white, will look good on your theme though, test it, the text will look so much better.
