10 Million Posts!

Pfft, what a tiny forum. It seems that it's growing less than 300k posts a week...

Haha just kidding great achievement dude 😀.

thanks 🙂 May be somewhat small right now but it's growing, slowly...

The forum started on Proboards in 2006 and in April 2010 I moved it to SMF. HCF helped me with that. It's been rough, but it's a lot of fun. The members LOVE those coloured names, too.

The most recent feature is buildable cat avatars drawn by me, we love those.

My heart dropped a lot when I read this title. Hats completely off to you.

Nice job.

Wow. Absolutely amazing! Great job, congratulations, and good luck on continuing that!

we got 11 million now, and had a code upgrade.

Thank you for all the congratulations!

Many congratulations on your continued success Acorn, that is a fantastic achievement.

How many hours per day do you spend on the forum?

Congratulations on the massive milestone. Very few forums reach 11million posts so you should be proud 😀

Congratulations on 11 million and you're already almost 12 million -.-

Several hours a day. I'm practically on call. It really becomes your life after a while. I'd say I spend around 8 hours a day on it, it varies. Mostly my staff {just a bunch of members volunteering} manage the site actively, policing it and enforcing the rules, and bringing up new plots and stuff and I'm running things "behind the curtain" server, art and innovation wise, though they and really any member can contribute ideas to the site and we incorporate them if we think they would benefit things.

Our alternate-roleplay areas have been expanding the most recently and the Other Roleplaying genres board is now our largest one.

Thank you everyone for the congratulations! It is now 12 million posts.

It seems like you barely made it on time to say that milestone, not long before 13 million 😛

Congrats dude, once it gets hard to keep up to date with the milestones in the millions you've definitely done something right

Thank you Speak. Started in 2006 on Proboards, moved to SMF 2 years ago. Until the end of 2010, we were a pretty small forum.

Thank you Gimgak. We got 13 million now. I am actually not sure why my site got so big. Yes, I know we are an easy-to-jump-into roleplay forum, but there are a lot of those. I really don't know what caused the site to grow this way. Maybe a lot of it was luck. I work hard on the site, so do many members and staff, but a lot of sites have dedicated people. I used to think I knew why we thrived, but it sort of mystifies me now. There's big, and then there is huge.

http://warriorcatsrpg.com now has over 10 million posts. It happened a couple days ago, now. We've added a feature of buildable avatars. You can create your own cat avatar and pick accessories and a background. It's a hit with our members! ^_^

Amazing !
Shocked when i saw it & had to look at your forum to check, lol!
Well Done!
😀 😀
😛

We got 14 million posts now. Thank you guys!

Our alternate-roleplay {non Warriors} area is probably the fastest growing part. We're holding Pokemon and Harry Potter events this week, and will probably put up more alt events over the coming months.

We also revamped the avatars, now 3 different kinds are buildable. At this point I am really just trying to keep up with the site's demands. For years it grew but very slowly. Now all of a sudden it is growing like crazy and things do get a little nuts. i am not sure, again, what made it suddenly go crazy. We do add new stuff all the time but we've always done that, and aren't really doing new stuff any faster than we always have.

How did you manage to do so well?
How long your forum being going for?
Its well impressive 😀
