I received this email as well. It’s an interesting business decision that they’ve made. I wonder if they’re hoping for an uptick of support subscriptions with all of the folks that will be using this style.

Ahhhh, I didn't even think of that. Yeah that makes sense. Especially because the free version doesn't offer any support either.

I like what ThemeHouse does, but they change to much of the default XF templates for my liking.

And sometimes they break their own themes. Tactical was perfect for Call of Duty sites, when I installed it, it was fine, but when I created a child of it... there were glitches, like the hover bars are visible in some odd places, sometimes two bars.

Upgrading skins is a pain, too. Yup.

I try to get support, they don't understand what I mean sometimes... so I stopped doing themes with them, unless its really, really good. I think their best work is in add-ons, and xpress.

Shame, really, because their custom themes are incredible. Its their pre-made ones that suffer at the expense of custom themes.

xpress

Xpress is amazing! I use it for a game I'm developing which will have it's game servers linked to wordpress and in return linked to xenforo because of xpress. It gives a lot of errors on the back end however everything functions almost flawlessly.

I haven't seen any front end errors luckily, but back end has a ton of errors

Its gotten stable, but according to the founder of the company that makes the plugin itself. Xpress is no more. He said xpress will no longer be sold, there's no "Buy" or "Purchase" button. And the "Renew" button stopped working. I have the latest version, but I need the patch update which is locked behind the "renew" button.
