So a couple of months ago, I thought I'd get back into blogging with something that has taken a lot of my time lately - food. I've found a love for cooking, and I'm looking to reinvigorate my own and my family's love of local tourism and eating out and maybe even some life hacks! So - here it is the 1001 Plates Blog.

I've started out simple, with the recipes. I'm still working on my photography and staging skills and have a lot more, more technical dishes in development/testing. 🙂
When lockdowns end I have a whole heap of places around Melbourne I wish to visit, check out and blog about and even some interstate destinations. 🙂

Anyway, I hope you all like what you see and enjoy watching 1001 Plates grow! 🙂

I'm in the USA so it's nice seeing other parts of the world. Their cuisine, culture, etc. Very nice blog!

Thanks @ZandraJoi

Speaking on, sounds like you'd love my most recent entry - even if the kids were being silly in the background and it's a bit rushed.

Anything to do w/ nature & animals, I'm interested lol Think it'd be cool to see kangaroos!

I look forward to seeing it! When you do, please tag me if you could, would appreciate it! 🙂

It is, @ZandraJoi!
I plan on seeing some more lighthouses this year too - also Whale watching in a few months when it opens for the year.

As for last weekend though, it was a waterfall
Some cool views, some scary roads.

No whales here unfortunately. Never been whale watching. Ironic since I love marine life lol We have Tahquamenon Falls in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Been there a few times when I was younger. I just adore the sound of water along w/ the smell. I don't know how I would have done those roads lol So kudos to you!!

LOL I don't know how I did it on those roads either.
I've found worse too, that I actually plan on probably using someday soon!

Also, new entry

So, for the purpose of wanting my children to eat this, I didn't add the Jalapeno Chilli today - but I have in the past many times.

This recipe's addition to my blog is to build on - over the next few days two Taco recipes will be uploaded with probably many more to come.

Until then, enjoy.

Looks good! My husband's the cook. There are different peppers you can try that won't be as hot.
