Re: 11.11.11 Elder Scrolls Oblivion V Skyrim RELEASED!!!!!!
My husband is currently at home wait impatiently for it to arrive. Him and my best male friend haven't shut up talking about it for the past year or something like that. I somewhat doubt I'll get the chance to play because I'm sure he'll be glued to it.

"11.11.11 Elder Scrolls Oblivion V Skyrim RELEASED!!!!!!"
Don't you mean, 11.11.11 Elder Scrolls V Skyrim REALEASED!!!!!!"
Because Oblivion was Elder Scrolls IV...
But I have never been a huge player of elder scrolls, so I'm not sure if it's worth getting. I will watch some playthroughs on youtube to see if it is what I want.
Yeah I've been playing skyrim for most of the day, went on a date earlier tonight so that got me out of the game but getting ready to go for another round.
Let me just say this: Skyrim is amazing. There are things that I have issues with but overall a rather large improvement over Oblivion. I've got around 10 hours clocked in so barely seen anything yet but I like most of the changes. Difficulty seems a bit easier for the most part over Oblivion, although its possible to get 1 hit killed by some enemies and vice versa so level scaling is toned down.
Also I quite like the infinite quest thing. Sure these missions or tasks are just filler but I mean they're a great way to put the dungeons to use, which there was no reason to dive into in Oblivion. They feel a bit like the quests in Daggerfall, except of course the game world isn't 1.5x the size of Great Britain like that game was.
As far as the main story goes dunno yet, I've barely done any of it. I was planning to plow through it but I just can't bring myself to do it, don't imagine I'll get to it anytime soon since there is so much to do outside of it.
It is pretty neat. I am liking it so much. My room mate bought it as soon as he could and I have been watching him play for hours. The effects are very cool too.
The map is sooo big. It is going to be a game to pick up for years, hahah, there is so much to do I don't think we'll get bored any time soon.
Skyrim is an amazing game. The environment is just stunning and very interactive indeed. It makes all the RPG developers jealous. They have more voice actors this time and the music is very epic and entertaining. There are some glitches I've experienced, but not any majors. So far, the story is okay. I bet it gets way better towards the middle.
Yeah I like the fact they've added some light puzzles to the dungeons now, makes them way better. I'm loving Skyrim, can't wait to dive back into it and do another Companions quest 😀.

I've played about 40 hours. 40 hours and I'm nowhere near done with ANY quest line. Only a few quests into the main quest, and have joined the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, however haven't started them.
