How annouing do you find 1337 speak on forums? I can understand a little bit of lol here and there, but not like some people do it.

If someone continually uses what I call "text speak" I will warn them about it, I dont think there is any need for it at all.

Speaking "the leetspeak" is a lot harder to type than normal words. It's obvious that if anyone is doing that tr5hey are either a troublemaker or just doing it for the lols. Depending on the context, it's probably easy to see which one. 😉

I dislike it and think the people who speak like that are just sad. Luckily though, it hasn't affected my forum and I hope that remains the case in the future.

Nah man, a dislike that, I don't mind it as a joke on the odd occasion but constantly is too far.

I don't mind the odd ''lol'' or ''rofl'' dropped in every now and again. I do however insist on fairly accurate levels of English. I just want an honest effort to be made - nothing more, nothing less.

So yeah, when I see 1337 being posted I kill it with fire.
