Here is a little info about my forum. Talk Nexus is general community andthere are no sparkly vampires, and no topless werewolves here.. just friendly people. I chose the name "Twilight" because it is my favorite time of day, it was just really bad luck that the franchise become popular weeks after I bought my domain. it was originally started in 2004, and over the course of the near 20 years I've been running this forum, we've been known by many names, one of which was the Twilight Cafe, and now, it is Talk Nexus. I changed the name back in 2015, when I moved from free hosting on JFB to paid hosting on MYBB. But as my life got busy, especially during the last 3 years, my activity stopped and unfortunately so did the forum. Now that things have lightened up, I am here to pick up where I left off.
Talk Nexus is a place where people can kick back, relax, and talk about anything or nothing in general. At this forum we discuss a plethora of topics ranging from A to Z and we don't shy away from the heavy stuff either. You name the topic, we have talked about it, beat it to death, resurrected it, rehashed it, and then beat it back to death.. lather, rinse, repeat..
I am willing to do either 15/15, 20/20 or 25/25, with anyone who is interested.
I just have a few things to ask of you, if you do reply to this. Please reply only if you are interested.
By replying to this topic, you agree to the following:
1. You will not screw me over. I will always fulfill my end of the bargain, and so, there is no need for you to not fulfill yours. I will post as YOU post until the amount that YOU specified has been completed.
2. You will complete your exchange within 48 hours. (This is so we can complete our exchanges as quickly as possible.) Normally, I'd prefer that you complete your exchange the same day that you agree to it, but, I realize that that may not always be possible, and so, that is why I extended that period to 48 hours. If necessary, I am willing to extend that even further, just as long as you complete your end of the bargain.
3. You will not spam. Rest assured, I would not do it to you, so please do not spam my forum.
4. You will not make all of your posts in the intros, support, forum games or updates areas, and/or post images as replies to topics. The post count is disabled in the areas I mentioned and any posts in them are not counted toward the exchange, and the latter is considered spam.
5. You will follow the rules.. in short, you should not do anything on my forum that you wouldn't want me to do on yours. This includes, but is not limited to PM/Email advertising, advertising on the board, hotlinking images, flaming, spamming, posting images as replies, etc..
6. Your forum has at least 1,000 posts. I don't mean to sound demanding, but the reason I am stating this is because I have my own forum to run, in addition to a few others as well. I do not want to feel like I am doing your dirty work while completing my end of the exchange. It isn't fair to me, or anyone else who might exchange with you.. if you can have a bunch of areas to post in, surely you can post a few topics in them as well.
6a. You will keep up with the activity on your forum. I have also been on many exchanges where the admins of these forums do not post. I don't want to do my share of posts for the day and return the next day and see that no one has replied, or even started new topics since then. As I said, I have mine, and other forums to run, and if I can keep up with the activity on my forum while doing so, surely you can as well.
7. Your forum has an off-topic and/or general chat section, and with the post count enabled. The reason I am stating this is because, I want to be able to participate in any forum that has requested an exchange with me. I am a generous person, and so, I won't reject you right off the bat if you have a themed forum. However, I only ask that if you do have one, that you also have a general chat and a few off-topic areas so that I can at least contribute there.
8. If you do reply, please use the following template. This is will keep things as neat as possible. Thank you.
