When you are about to hit another posting milestone on a forum do you usually try and strive to finish getting those posts through out the day or do you just post more casually and just let them build up over time and you'll reach the milestone when you get there?

Depends, if I am like 20 posts off I will just post casually, but if I am only like 10 posts off I try to hit the milestone that day.

I'm not bothered by milestones, I just go the same pace.

Depends on my mood and what else I need to do that day, if anything. If I'm not busy or preoccupied, I'll push on for it otherwise I'll just let it casually go by.

I used to be bothered about milestones and post more to hit my next milestone although now I just post normally and just slowly hit the milestones.

At the end of the day, your post count is merely a number.

I agree with everyone 😛 :lol:

@Fowler
If I had 17000+ posts I'd probably have stopped caring as well 😛

I do only push for the milestone once I get closer like right now I'm close to 1900 and I wanna give a little nudge towards 2000 but I don't think I'm gonna get that far tonight 😛

I usually just post casually to get to my next milestone, I want to make sure I have some quality posts, nothing to rush. 😛

I've been posting a lot more here then I usually today 😛 but I think this would be what I consider my normal post rate when I am in the mood to really post and reply to things 😛

I always say if there is no way to make a quality reply to a topic then don't make one at all ^_^

Sure, go for it. I would probably post normally until the last 50.

I completely agree with you but if I'm a couple posts away from the milestone and I have a few minutes spare then I would probably go for it. 🙂
