1Advert.com Suggestions and Feedback Please?

How does it make money unless the rates get raised after a new advertiser is acquired?

If I were to advertise, I'd ask myself why since there is nothing else on the page? What would even draw people to it? I tried searching "1 Advert" and nothing came up to direct to the page.

It also looks very primitive, like an old 90's website. It's a very interesting concept, but I don't know if I would want to advertise one of my sites on a website that doesn't really seem like there's much going on.

Thanks Katrina, yes that's how it works. Say someone buys an ad for $1. The ad slot is then offered for sale for say $3.

Thank you both for your feedback, Katrina and Ravenfreak, I will see what I can do to improve the site design.

I’m not sure what feedback you’re looking for here but I understand the basic principle of the site and how it works.

As others have said it’s giving a very old school dated vibe and as someone who could potentially advertise there, it instils 0% confidence that it would be money well spent. Without sounding rude about it, it looks like a high schoolers attempt to make a website to pass a course, it isn’t shouting professional to me and I genuinely wouldn’t use it in its current form.

There is also the issue of using it from a visitors point of view - I’d be highly reluctant to actually click the ad as it looks like one of those ads/sites that is going to give me a virus and a million pop ups if I click it, thus sort of defeating the purpose of it?

Sorry if it sounds like I’ve just hated on the whole thing, the principle/idea is sound enough but I think it needs something done with it to overhaul the design/professionalism of it.

Thanks very much Yoda, I appreciate your helpful feedback and will work on that to improve the site.
