BETA Testers are volunteers primarily responsible for testing features before they release to the general site population, and then providing feedback on them. They also assist in the process of coming up with and conceptualizing features to be developed. Also note that after the site is officially released, BETA testers will still continue to test new and upcoming features and will receive similar privileges.

Just didn't join because lack of previous beta testing experiences.
