I feel like I always have to explain myself because people get all upset. I'm not suggestion there is anything wrong with it, I'm just asking because I am interested.

I suppose not necessarily tactics as such, just as some people will vote very early on in a poll which can sometimes give a site an early lead, there will be others who vote at the last minute which can have a last minute impact on the winning site. It’s just a little more exciting with last minute votes 😀

Nobody knows before making their vote as the results are hidden until their vote has been cast 🙂

I guess tactics was a poor choice of words - it’s just more exciting when you have last minute votes coming in that can change things late in the game!

Exactly! I mean, I could always message a forum owner and let him/her know I'm voting at the end so they can expect to have one...and if they need one more, maybe they can ask around their forum for someone to come post and then vote at the end as well. It could definitely be a good tactic as long as the other forum isn't doing the same thing.

It's not always about your site, but about your competitor...and then there's the strategy of voting for a smaller forum in hopes that you can beat them later in another round.

It can be a bit weird how people vote and their choice of vote. A couple years ago a blog i ran but didn't do much with came second place over a lot of other blogs and forums that people took more time with.

This time my current blog died out of the competition very early.

Oi, guys! Just popping in to congratulate the sweet sixteen runner ups and wish you best of luck.

Some of the pitied teams were really hard to choose from. I am happy to see so much variety in websites, blogs and communities. Overall, it's been great seeing some well know places still going strong as well as some cool new ones I've now had a chance to meet.

I know I am not here as much but you know I love this place and it is one of the first I think of when I have a chance to be online. haha.
