Academy Award®-winning director Danny Boyle and Academy Award®-nominated writer Alex Garland reunite for 28 Years Later, a terrifying new story set in the world created by 28 Days Later. It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, and now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well.

I love how the setting of this almost feels like a blend of 28 Days and 28 Weeks. I also appreciate that we're getting Boyle and Garland back, and that this feels more in line with the first one which is cool. Looking great so far!

Finally, a film worth watching! At least it appears that way from the trailer 🙂

There's one thing to dread when any sequel is being made. That it's not a dumpster fire. I often have dreamed of a good sequel for several movies that I really enjoyed growing up and those were disappointing failures. Not what the fans imagined or wanted. I've learned to watch what you wish for because you may not get it at all. And I'm really hoping that this movie, 28 yrs Later, really impresses me.

28 Years Later has good potential as it has an original plot and the cast are great. I haven't watched it but I perceive it will be successful.
