You not banned you need to reset you password as you can't convert phpBB3 to Vbullentin with the password as they have different encryptions

I beg to differ upon that comment, You can look at vBulletin I did a conversion perfectly no problems like that what so ever 🙂

no you can't.
You need to reset your passwords.

They use different encryptions, phpBB I think use md5

Well than that's new because I remember converting couple months ago no problem no password resets ect.. Ohh well times a changing.

Nice change, but it won't help your hosting at all. vB is simply a resource hog, it doesn't actually offer anything MyBB doesn't by default, and the MODs are just as easy to install.

It is possible to keep passwords, but I can't legally say how now due to privacy concerns... best bet is just to reset them these days.
