Have you had any experiences with 3D moddelling? If you do what software did you use amd why?

I know Unity, Blender & Google Sketckup are popular

Yeah, I did my part when I was in collage 🙂 did an class back in 2012 and 4 months in 2013 and got sick of being apart of it. I can be very very good but when it comes down to the maths measuring I'm stuck for good.

Here what I heaved used 🙂

Google SketchUp, It's free and easy to use
Blender, used it once and never got into it.
AutoCAD, It's the most used very expensive but I had the full student version that I used for an full years 🙂 I may have it still and saved.

That's what I used and that's what I can remember. I also have saved work from Google SketchUp. I made my home. I made up and desk with computer gear on it. I had to create the same layout as the classroom I was in and that was fun. Then made sharps and many other things, about 10 files of work I got saved on my Hard drive

I tried before but I gave up on it.
Try again 🙂 Do you enjoy it? If you don't then that's your answer to don't do it.

To able to do things you need to be interested in doing it really 🙂

Cinema 4D is probably the premiere 3D graphics software on the market.

Created entirely in c4d

Maybe I had the wrong program. Whats a fun one?
3D Max!! Maybe Each one is different with what you can do but it does make the same things. Like an car or models for GTA
Thanks, I will look into it.

In 3D computer graphics, 3D modeling is the process of developing a mathematical representation of any three-dimensional surface of an object via specialized software. The product is called a 3D model. It can be displayed as a two-dimensional image through a process called 3D rendering or used in a computer simulation of physical phenomena. The model can also be physically created using 3D printing devices.

@maxcburger Okay thanks for the little information but the topic is about if anyone has used it and done some projects, and if they have what projects that they have made.

I love 3d modeling. However, I haven't had time to get into it, mainly cause I have other hobbies with a larger priority. However, the main problem with the hobby as a whole is that I don't have a powerful enough computer for it. Note, it's a good computer and works fine, even though it's from 2011, but it still doesn't have the graphics capability.

Note, as of now I have Poser and Blender installed and sometimes look at Poser, but Blender will require more time and work. Basically, I know nothing of Blender.

what can of things that you make? models and cars?

You can make anything or you can buy (or get for free) models to put in scenes. That's why it's so much fun.

However, to really do advanced stuff sometimes you need a gaming computer. Those cost more than regular ones.

Well my website needs like models and and things for people to upload and download http://www.baysidegamers.com/files/

like upload your work for others to download and share and then you get full credit for your work and people will love your work.

I used to write some software that used a bunch of 3D models. I didn't make any of them though. We had this really skilled guy at work who would make them in in a modeling program and send us the files. I tried my hand at making a few once, but never got really into it.
