404 error

So I followed the directions here on the site(thanks btw. I do appreciate it)
for installing ajax chat and i get this error message when i try to enter the chat....

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


How do i fix this?

That error is a 500 error and not a 404. The 404 not found error reference is related to there not being an error page to show instead of the message above.

FOWLER! you are a lifesaver 🙂

This was stressing me out completely.

Now i use empirehosting and I have both my main domain(fearthefayz.com)
and my test domain(enterthefayz.com) on their site for hosting
and I created this forum on my test domain

how do i move the site from my test domain to my main domain and remove the current mybb forum off the main domain?

Could you elaborate please? Do you mean transfer the database over or transfer the site files such as the forum software etc?

I'd have to look into the database transfer option but you'd have to download it from one and upload it (transfer) to another. As for the files options, I'd suggest downloading FileZilla, and FTP client and again transfer the files from one web space to another.
