Do you need a dominin name?

Depends if you are on free software or not. Mine is with vBulletin, so you need your own domain AND hosting.

I guess, it will cost you...obviously, but ultimately you will always have the OTHER domain...the one that you get with the forum.

Better? I dont really understand what your asking me.

If your serious about your forum, you will buy proper forum software such as vBulletin, then you can get a proper .com domain to go with it.

A domain doesnt get a forum active, where on earth did you get that idea?

If your forums a load of crap people ain't gonna wanna join/post are they. Its got f all to do with the domain. Its all about your advertising etc

Depends how many The Warriors fans there are. I've never even heard of it, what is it?

Is it new?
Did it get good reviews?
Is it popular?
Is there a fan base?

You need to be asking yourself all these questions and more.

Cloverfield is less than a month old, was the most hyped film of 2007, had MASSIVE viral marketing. Has a massive fan base and is hugely popular. This is why mine is successful. Take all of those into consideration when you choose yours.

No I haven't.

To even remotely stand a chance of making a movie forum successul the film has to be a Hollywood/blockbuster smash hit.

Tbh, I would just focus on the forum you have at the moment. That's what I did, I focused on my fff only for just over a year and now look...130,000 posts and nearly 1,400 members.
