It's like you guys don't even pay attention to the news, let alone Trump's actual speeches. He only makes statements, and whenever he learns something new about the way industry or our government works, he believes he's now suddenly the world's foremost expert (that's literally what he says). Okay, sure, suspend your disbelief there, but where's the plan for any of his goals? "It's too complicated; you wouldn't get it. Trust me."
Meanwhile, the majority of republicans are deconstructing regulations, lately and most notably the EPA and Endangered Species Act. Public education will soon be back in the Dark Ages if DeVos has any continued influence, and this country will very officially be done.
But if his supporters ever listened to reason or checked their own facts, he would never have been elected. Try it! Don't take my word for anything; go look into what's going on, I beg you.

Well I will start with one thing at a time...
I will agree DeVos may at first seem like a bad decision, but she has had a good start. She has helped along the road supported Black Communities and helped supported their colleges along with a recent executive order even further helped fund black community colleges.
Secondly she as well as 90% of Americans agree she plans to end common core. She has had a good start so I wouldn't jump the gun and say she is bad just because.
Secondly I have checked the facts on many things. As for deregulation's. It has not been as remotely as bad as they like you to believe. Most of the deregulation's have been mostly to help businesses get things done than being held back that is why the DOW stock has went up 4,000 points within such a short period of time which has been the largest increase so far, but it isn't just the DOW it is also Nasdaq and many others who have been hitting record high numbers the US is right now facing one of its largest economic booms in history. If it keeps going at the pace it does now this economic boom will be the biggest one in US history. Between all the jobs returning back between Ford, Amazon, Intel, GM, etc. We are roughly over 1 million more jobs for American citizens in less than a month.
As for speeches the speeches have been great, but more so the Joint Sessions speech. Only type of people I could see disagreeing with the Joint Sessions speech is those who disagree with want Trump wants for America. Such as Cheaper Drugs, etc which I mention in a previous post.
Refusing to acknowledge and even debate regardless of how 'stupid' something may seem doesn't help you either. Debating is suppose to be an healthy environment to engage in discussion on different points of views. All views should be listened to and debated on regardless if you like them or not everyone is not going to agree on the same thing of course.
C'mon man, subtext. I would never debate that because I have no disagreements with what he said, which if you'd read it is implied by the rest of what I said in response.
Trump has done more than Obama in his first term, which as I said isn't necessarily a good thing; it's far easier to do damage than it is to do good. So far he's done nothing but unwind the progress that was made during Obama's administration and the 50 years prior, which certainly counts as doing something.

Well to be fair you said you couldn't debate him, but technically you did just now. Also what has Trump done that isn't necessarily good? Illegal immigration control, helped the black community, expanded and improved our economy. I could go on honestly, but I think you get the point already, but to be honest could I agree he has done more than Obama? Well Obama had 8 years as President so of course it is true Trump has not done as much or more than Obama, but the fact remains Trump has achieved more and fulfilled more of his campaign promises within a shorter time-frame than most Presidents in history that is a undeniable fact that this will go down in history as one of the most hardest working Presidents in American history. More so considering he is doing it without being paid since himself and his entire cabinet is not taking their paychecks and have them all redirected to the US Treasury.

You are suggesting I do my own research and I gave you the answers, but you are avoiding the subject of the discussion without even trying to point or prove your own end of the spectrum. So I must be honest and say you don't know what debate means, my friend. You can't debate someone and shrug it off and tell others to do their own research if you can't return with a constructive argument when I gave you one. 😛

As an educator, I wholeheartedly agree with this. I would love to see a Secretary of Education who has, say, a degree in education and/or some experience as an educator.
