Sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this so Computers & Internet seemed like the best place for me. Please move if not supposed to be here.

Anyway, I'm having reports that for my websites or even parts of my websites people are receiving 500 Internal Server Errors. I'm on an unmanaged hosting provider (DO) so I'm not sure what could be causing this.

The URLs that have been reported to me for causing this to some people are these-
http://clients.hostwish.net/
http://hostwish.net/
http://fan.erinnicole.nu/fls/ani/koala/

The people that have viewed my sites have used Chrome & Safari and have cleared their cache. It used to happen to me but since I have started talking to cPanel and my host, it has stopped. So, I can see my sites just fine and thus didn't realize this was such a big issue until the 2nd person reported it to me.
I believe 1 person is iffy but 2 people is 1 too many.

Anyway, on any of the sites in my signature, is anyone else getting any 500 Internal Server errors? If you are, what browser are you using? Also, what is the exact URL?

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Moved to a more appropriate forum. 🙂

It works fine for me. I'm not sure why this is happening. What might have happened is their IP got blacklisted from cPanel due to too many invalid login attempts. I'd recommend you contact your host and ask them to whitelist their IP. That's really my only idea. 😛

Login attempts? They aren't clients of mine nor is there anywhere for them to login anywhere on my sites, so that wouldn't be the case.

Though I could try whitelisting their IPs anyway.

Thanks for moving it!

I've had this happen before, usually it's from me doing to many updates at once or refreshes, usually it unbans my IP within a few minutes after the server settles down. That's pretty much the only thing I can come up with also, since the sites work for me just fine. I don't think it matters if they are clients or not, it can happen if someone puts to much strain on a server and the servers have some kind of security on it. Have they tried the sites now?

Well your website is working fine from my side , edit your php.ini and increase memory limits .. where 128MB do it 256MB , or check your server log error ,
