Are your blog comments spam? I can't imagine how long it would take to make 5000 non spam backlinks.

Any comments you do to get backlinks are obviously going to be spam.
Although through these methods I have one site ranking 2nd page of google for a keyword that gets 2.1 Million searches a month.
