whats the point of starting a forum if you are just going to give up and tell all your members to go over to the bigger forum and join? It makes sense yes, memership wise, but their is no point in it for the smaller site if you ask me. The FUN of making a forum is to watch it grow off of your own hard work and dedication and not the hard work and dedication of someone else.....
And by the way you make it sound, the admin of the site you'd be merging with would probably end up a mod, then wait and wait and wait for an admin position (which he already had before, at a smaller site but he was an admin) and he'd probably just get bored of it and leave, then, you've got all of his members at your bigger site and he's got nottin.
I've heard of this happening before were, once they merge, the admin of the bigger site just bans the other guy and he's got all of the smaller sites members and the smaller sites admin has got nottin.... ~confuse~
