Many games require a lot of ram, sometimes as much as 16GB but generally CPU improves gaming more than RAM. So do you feel 16GB is enough RAM for even the most hardcore gamers or do you feel that even more RAM is necessary?
Ram is relatively cheap these days, so I always say if you want the extra ram, go for it! Better to be over spec'd then under spec'd.There are gamer out there that put 32GB or 128GB and what's the point spending extra amount if it's not going to be used.
Tue, however the CPU does all of the work when rendering, It does when I use Sony Vargas.Ram is relatively cheap these days, so I always say if you want the extra ram, go for it! Besides, my beast of a machine is for more than just gaming. I also render high resolution videos with after effects and premier pro. The more ram, the better! Otherwise, you may end up waiting days for just 30 seconds of video to be exported![]()
The size of the ram, 16GB and up.Are we talking DDR4 or 3? I think 4 i supposedly faster.
I have 5GB graphics card 😛16GB is good enough for gaming computers. I am using DDR3 16GB RAM on my desktop with 1GB graphics card and 500GB SSD. My games run crazy with these.
