Yep thats right, The Island is eight months old! Established Jan 26th 2008.
Originally hosted on InvisionFree. We had almost 10,000 posts and 80 members but then in March we moved over to paid hosting and lost everything from that original forum.
No big deal, Now we are bigger than ever growing slowly but surely.

I wouldn't say so, more 12 months or 6 months.

Well I think its a milestone. Who is to say that 6 months is any more significant than 8 months? I think its an accomplishment to make it that far as well as almost being at 200 members and 25,000 posts. Most forums dont even make it that far. Yay Island! ~razz~

I dunno, 8 is just...random. 6 is half a year and 12 is a year which would make more sense but congrats anywho.
