8GB or 16GB

8GB is enough to get by. Games themselves tend to not use all that much. Since DDR3 RAM is cheaper than ever, though, there isn't much reason to not buy 16GB.
 
I can confirm with ESO. It's a memory hog, but having 16 saved me from the pain of trying to alt-tab and waiting for 2 minutes just so I could use Firefox.
 
You know what's great? When you finish playing a brand new game, you exit out, and see that you forgot you had a VM running in the background with 4gb dedicated to it. I love my 16gb with all of my heart because of that. <3

I mean, like others said, there's no way I could get away with that on ESO but still. It's a dream not having to worry about memory usage in 99% of my daily use.
