8mb.us is a free easy to use url shortening service, no need to register. It comes with free analytics's for your links. We are currently in open beta, version 0.5. In the next beta update we hope to have a bulk shortener, blog and more. The theme is custom by Steven Kippax(Me).So come now and shorten your urls.

How accurate are your analytics?
What type of metrics do you show? (Location, time, etc.)
What is in 8mb.in not in bit.ly?

Almost bang on every time and it updates all the time, an example: http://8mb.in/f+ You just put + on the end of the url for statistics.

Well nothing much but our urls are shorter and we load faster. Though like I said we're in beta and on the next update we'll have bulk url shortening which bit.ly doesn't have I think, at least it doesn't have it available for non member use unlike we will.

Just checked with bit.ly, bulk shortener is there for signed members only 🙁.

Load faster, i don't know. Haven't checked yet.

Shorter, for the time-being.
Once 1,2,3,4 and 5 letter extensions are done. You'll be like bit.ly

Anyways, might use it when posting on twitter. Thanks for the service.

Yep and we're for all and yeah I know it will be longer but that's a long time off.

Well saying that I might make a script to remove dead links so then it will take longer for us to end up having link 8mb.in/373h37.

For the statistic to work, you need multiuser on, otherwise nly you can see it

It's the inbuilt system that logs each view so it's 100% accurate.

I don't know. Do bots generate hits? Personally I didn't think they did.

This looks like a good URL shortening service. Clean design, statistics, and, well, short links! It'll help out with cleaning up IM conversations and emails.
