Great, let's stop. I wanted to say a thing or two on this becoming a war between 2 members. But i was afraid of backseat moderating. But this has to stop, be happy, he was curios, he isn't curios anymore, he loves FP, we all do!

By the way, is this backseat moderating? Cooling 2 members down...

One question though... Where are all of these posts? After skimming over the index they only add up to around 700,000. Where are the other 200,000. :s

There is always someone to say this when someone announces a large post milestone... Any person that has ever ran or been staff on a forum knows that forums have hidden staff, Elite/VIP, etc etc discussion forums & "trash can" forums. A forum that has been around this many years is bound to have a larger amount of posts in hidden forums.

With that being said, this being an advertising forum with thousands and thousands of old ad-threads and service-request threads & probably only 1/4th of the 900k being actual discussions, its still a pretty good accomplishment. Congrats!

Clearly. I'm the Sponsor rank so I know there's no forums for that and I didn't expect 200,000 in Trash/Staff.

I think valued users have a section for them, not sure.

And only 100k left lets do this thing!

You'd be surprise on how many posts are actually in the hidden categories. I remember that the staff board was loaded. Not to mention there is now an archive of all the old promotion forums.

Good job FP! Since I think I originally joined, I remember seeing 400,000!

Made a rough graph of FP's milestones:


It took about 8 months to go from 800k to 900k posts so I'm guessing that FP will reach 1,000,000 posts somewhere between late November and early January, there is usually an increase in posting during the summer but FP's activity has decreased significantly from its most active period in 2010, guess we'll just have to wait and see how things go 🙂.

Yeah, I remember those days. :lol: There were about a thousand posts per day for a long time.
