Today It was my first time having to be hauled in the back of a Ambulance and off to the Hospital. Let me start off by catching everyone up to date...

3-4 weeks ago, I started having problems with getting a good breathe. Then I had a very sharp pain in the top right side of my chest. It lasted for about 10 minutes and poof, it went away.

Today...I was laying with Erica in the bed watching NetFlix movies. I started having a problem in my chest. I put my hand on my chest and then it done only one thing..got way worse. It go so bad that I curled up into a little ball and started crying that it hurt so bad. I started to sweat like crazy and started breathing really fast. The sharp pain as I had before came back 3 times as worse.

911 was called by Erica's mom. The Ambulance was there within 5 minutes. I was taken to Gaston Memorial Hospital. I got an IV started in me inside the Ambulance and everything. When I got inside the ER, they were already waiting on me to come in. When I got there they automatically put some Salene in my IV to clear my vain out. Then they put some king of chest pain reliever in there. It helped out so much. I was then taken into a room for an EKG scan. It came out to be clear. Also, my blood sugar, blood pressure, medical history and everything was just perfect. Nothing wrong.

I went to get an x-ray of my chest to see if I have any broken ribs, and that came out clear. The doctors were still confused as to what is going on. After the x-rays were done, I was headed off to a catscan to get done on my chest to check for any Ulcers' or ammonia. That came out clear as well.

I finally got my own room in the ER. I had room 9. When I was in there they took 6 vials of blood from me and went to go do blood scans on them. They soon after came out clear as well just like all the other tests that had been done.

Then a nurse came in and hooked up "Dalota" (A high pain killer that makes you loopy) Well..lets just say I was feeling good after that and I still am while writing this topic. Everyone has been saying I am being very funny today since I got back from Hospital since I am on narcotics.

The doctor finally came back with final results saying that it is not my heart and its not any of the other things they tested for. He gave me 3 subscriptions for Vikadin, something else and something else. They are used for treating stomach problems. He thinks this is something to do with my stomach, so now I have to go see a specialist to see what is going on..if it is at all to deal with my stomach.

Hey man, wish you the best when you go see the specialist. When's your appointment?

This is quite odd. There were absolutely no problems at all?

I hope your diagnoses goes well

Remember, riding the ambulance will always be the most costly car ride you will ever have. Just wait till you get the bill. ;D

Alright Chris, I hope you get back to completely normal condition. 😉

Wow, that must have been scary! I hope you feel better soon and I hope you figure out what's wrong so you can fix it asap 😀

No worries about me overdosing, I only got 6 of them. But I haven't taken any medication they prescribed me yet. I will start them tonight and they last for 5 days. I am supposed to take them every 6 hours as needed. I'm not really a big fan of pills nor care to take pain killers unless I feel like I'm about to die. I don't think I will really need the vikadin unless it starts again. I have been fine all day today and hope that I will remain in this condition.

I hope you remain in that condition too. 🙂 I'm like you, I hate taking medicine unless it's a last resort. Actually, not taking pain medicine when my appendices were swelled really kept them from bursting until much longer. I had time to get to the emergency room, and all that good stuff.

NHS? Is that the equivalent to the ambulance service?

Anyway, Chris, glad things are working out for you and hope you feel a lot better soon!
