Ha I've seen lectures and workshops on the idea of the human mind.
If they see 1 rather than 99 they think it's cheaper these days due to how low the 1 is compared to the 99 when in fact most times unless you use some sort of payment card you will end up spending the 1 anyway as there is no such thing as a 99 cent coin :O
