Lately I’ve been watching Battlebots with my MIL. It’s become a tradition for us to watch it every Friday, since new episodes air on Thursdays when the new season airs. It’s been around for decades, but I never had the chance to watch it much when I was a kid since I didn’t have the channel it aired on. Anyways I’ve been really thinking about making a community based around Battlebots! I’ve got a name down, but wondered if there’s anyone who would enjoy a community based around the show. Do you think it would be a viable community? I’d like to hear some feedback before I take the dive and get everything set up.
It certainly is a unique niche! I had to search for what BattleBots was though lol You can always try your hand at having a forum as you may be surprised who else would be interested.
An idea could be to have a board on a forum you already own & see what type of interest there is. Then if it seems there is enough, create its own forum.

Worth a shot. You might not reach much of your fanbase in the usual forum promotion places. Might need to turn to facebook / instagram targeted ads, google adsense or something like that.
Thank you all for your feedback! I've thought about it more and decided to go ahead and give it a go. I just came up with a checklist on my phone on how I plan on getting everything set up. I'm not sure how long this will take to get everything up and running, but once it's ready for promoting I will post here on FP first in the appropriate section of course. 🙂
