So if anyone can clear these questions, i appreciate it :great:

1) how do i cash out the money?
2) i'm only 13, can i still sign up for the Paypal account?
3) will it cost me anything to sign up for a Paypal account?

1) You can link a savings or chequing account.
2) You CAN, but it's against their TOS. Nothing is stopping you from lying, but I'm not going to say what you should and shouldn't be doing.
3) No.

Can i send money from my paypal to other people? like let's say this guy is selling me 10 posts for a dollar, than i want to pat with the money i have in my paypal account.

3) No.

Let's answer this accurately. Lukas, you provided some "not-fully" correct/incorrect answers.

1) You can cash out the money through owning a bank account (therefore a credit card) or a cheque (therefore requiring a correct address).

2) Yes and legally. Minors may sign up through a parental account, namely a "Student Account". This is perfectly legal, and it's essentially a myth saying that it's against their TOS, when there is an option for people 13 and over.

Nonetheless, you can still sign up for an "18+" account if you remain absolutely anonymous about details and usage.

3) No.

Yes, however, there may be a small transaction fee, so using the "Gift" alternative will have no fee for low amounts, although I believe at high amounts, there is also a fee (though I may be wrong).

Ah sorry. I've never head of the student account before, nor seen it.

EDIT: Ah, it's because the Student Account isn't available in Canada. 😉

Here is a question:
Can you buy from a external source using a unverified paypal account?
Can you send money to other paypal users with a unverified paypal account?

Note: I know in some countries different rules so I'm from the United Kingdom.

Yes for both questions, however you are limited to a certain amount of transfer (something like $2,500 in total).

Ergh, paypal upsets me sometimes. I got paid $0.40 for posting on a forum, and paypal too $0.38 of it. I was quite upset.

Seriously? That's not legal...

Yeah, well, it happened. I thought it was some kind of fee or something. Completely bogus. Haven't used paypal since.

Yes, it is legal. You are expected to pay transfer fees as said in the TOS. However, this can be avoided by paying through the "gift" option, which then you don't get charged a fee.

Ah, I'll have to remember that. Thank you!

Unfortunately with the gift thing, the sender gets charged with a fee still. It's not like there aren't any fees at all with it.

Also about the student accounts, you need a valid parent's permission to set one up.

Really to take advantage of the full uses of paypal you will need an adult's valid checking account.

Or if you are a minor, an adult's consent to have a checking account.

Yes. To avoid fees just pay via gift or MassPay.
If you're just signing up, you'll usually sign up for a personal account. These accounts don't encounter any fees but it's somewhat limited. Once you hit a certain mark you will be asked to upgrade your account. If you only do small transactions here and there you won't need to upgrade. Personal accounts are fine if you're not making thousands of dollars a month.
