Q. 1: Can you guide me through the 960 grid system?
I read guides and walkthroughs and everything. I even used it before but i can't seem to remember anything.

Q. 2: Best resolution?
What's the best resolution to design on?

Q. 3: How come the 960 grid system isn't 960 wide?
Not a troll question. Seriously.

Q. 4: Best grid system in your opinion?
The 960 grid system is beyond all, but other grid systems are used. Why? Do you use them?

Q. 5: Best column number for the 960 grid system?
And what does each has? For example some say 12 column, others say 16 for this only but not that... What is 'this only but not that'?

Q. 6: To grid or not to grid?
That is the question.

I learned from Alfredo Garcia that you should start with a canvas that is 1100 x 2400 and then trim the height as needed.

I always use the 960 grid system! The 960 grid system is not as confusing as you think. It really helps you organize your content! For the columns, it really depends on what you are making. I usually use the 12 and 16 column ones and sometimes the 24.

P.S. it was hard to read your blog post. Perhaps more spacing and/or different colors. I don't know what it was but i was having a hard time.

It's a good article, just read it. And yes, it was hard to read. The gray text with a fully white website is pretty straining on the eyes. The size is fine, though it wouldn't hurt to make it 1px larger.
