My friends using wjunk and she said the support sucks, They placed her on their main dedicated because they say no other VPS or dedicated would fit the size of the site. (So she has no root access and only cPanel)

I wouldn't go with HostGator, i heard a lot of bad stuff about them and how they close sites for just small CPU spikes (Like for a minute or two spike from a site)

They're a great host and I don't think I'll ever go to a different host.

I moved from a HostGator reseller to HawkHost, primarily because the memory limit there was 64M when I needed 128M (they wouldn't change it). So far, LiteSpeed for me has owned Apache, so I'm happy enough (not to mention I got a really good deal from HawkHost).

But give Chris a chance. If he tried to rip you off, he'd get banned from here.

I dont reccomend any hosts here on FP, because they are small and you wont know if they last or not. Get hosting from a established hosting company. For my forums I use www.fatcow.com I would also recommend hawkhost.com

Hawk Host has proven to be very stable, fast, quick & friendly support.

They also help me recover my database. I use to use Jumpline.com and they had so many issues, that even my backups were corrupt. I've never known a host to help recover files and help with moving from another host.
